Compensation: Base of SGD 85K – 130 K + Bonus of 15 % + Stock Options.
Reports to: The person will report directly to the Director, APAC, based in Singapore.
Position Brief:
The Senior Implementation Consultant will be part of the Professional Services team and will work directly with customers to deliver solutions. This person will lead the technical integration of customers' web sites with the Client’s network.
The successful candidate will own the technical implementation from project commencement to customer sign-off. This person may also be involved early in the pre-sales cycle to help craft and scope the solution, and will often be working in close conjunction with Technical Project Managers in order to deliver projects for the Client’s customers.
This is a hands-on implementation role with some Project Management needed.
We are looking for a combination of a person with
a. internet infrastructure skills
b. some exposure to programming
c. some network experience and also some systems experience
d. ability to work independently and as part of small technical teams partnering with the client’s enterprise customers to evaluate their web architecture and deliver customer solutions.
e. able to deliver certification training on the client’s products and services to the client’s internal employees, to customers, and consulting partners.
Must Have (No Exceptions):
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering field
- 5-8 years of IT solution delivery experience with progressively responsible positions
- Strong working experience with HTTP and DNS.
- Prior Implementation experience with a recognized international technology company. No candidates that only have experience with small SI’s need apply.
- Prior customer interfacing experience in a consulting billable role.
- Strong English verbal communication and at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese or Korean.
- Must be working in Singapore now. NO RELOCATIONS WIL BE CONSIDERED.
Nice to have:
- At least 1-2 years of J2EE experience with app. Server such as Weblogic, Websphere, Tom Cat.
- Some security experience
- Knowledge of SSL, XML, Networking, and Content Delivery.
The likely candidates will have once worked in a consulting role doing implementations of enterprise software with an internet component at companies such as Accenture, KPMG, IBM Global Services, CSC or any other Enterprise Consulting firm.
