Job Ref 0701-1: Business Solutions Manager-- Asia

Responsibilities:
  • A challenging and responsible regional position as a Business Solutions Manager for Asia with one of the world’s leading multi-national insurance groups. The Business Solutions Manager-Asia will lead strategic technical solutions and identify research and development areas that should be investigated. They will be responsible for attaining department research, and subsequently setting marketing, fiscal, and staffing goals to conform to the organizational goals. In addition, they will establish operating procedures, practices and guidelines and communicate them with department colleagues.

  • Job Scope:
  • Assess existing information technology management capabilities and recommending and implementing business technology solutions to better position the IT organization and improve the effectiveness of all business units in Asia.

  • Building, driving, and managing relationships with Asian business leaders and country managers domestically and globally to understand business plans and translate their business needs into technology solutions.

  • Project management, including budgeting and fiscal aspects from conception to delivery of IT projects and programs.

  • Provide leadership and liaison in the areas of project management, custom software application development, and quality assurance. In addition, preparing and tracking budgets, project plans, and staffing plans.

  • Provide project and program status to executive management, submitting recommendations when required, ensuring timely production support is provided by business analysis and training staff, and assisting in presentations in Asia Pacific governance meetings for project approvals.

  • Think strategically regarding how technology applications will fit within the organization’s overall business needs and priorities, while maintaining project and program reporting formats, structure, and schedules to the organization’s standards.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Chinese
  • Preferred language(s): Japanese, Korean
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Job Ref 061207: Manager of Telesales Group

Job Description

CLIENT IS AN AMERICAN BANK.

The successful candidate will head the Telesales Team for an exclusive financial services product. She will be responsible for maintaining a high performance Telemarketing team of 15 people who are focused on external customer acquisition and some customer servicing.

She is required to recruit, provide coaching and feedback and MOTIVATE staff to achieve sales targets and manage customers. This will involve reviewing individual sales performances, sales call listening and feedback and customer handling and resolution updates.

She MUST have strong corporate customer service management experience. She must have managed a team in the past for at least 5 years and she must have had experience dealing with customers.

Prior Telemarketing team management experience is NOT required. We are also NOT looking for a hard-core sales person. Any past sales experience is a nice to have. What we are looking for is a manager that can help give direction to the team. To gain the respect of the team, she will have to be polished and be able to lead.

Requirements

· 5 years experience in a Managerial role managing a team of at least 5 people.

· Strong experience in customer service management

· You must be a MENTOR and be able to MOTIVATE a sales team

· Must speak well.

· Must be based in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be part of the FOREX Exchange team based in Singapore. He will be involved in accounting/planning and forecasting for payment exchange services.

He will be required to provide financial support and this includes preparing reports of financial results in accordance with accounting policies and regulations, for requirements of both company and external bodies like CAAS, IRAS and MAS.

The successful candidate must prepare and co-ordinate the forecasting and budgeting for Singapore. He must prepare timely analyses to support business decisions, measure business performances such as productivity and profitability and prepare month-end reporting at market and cost centre level for the management team.

The successful candidate must be strong in excel.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in Accounting
  • Some experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and analysis

The incumbent should be experienced in private banking, and well-connected, particularly with high networth clients.
